Police dispersed a night rally of supporters of Alexei Navalny on Manezhnaya Square in Moscow

The Moscow police, who did not disperse the protests in the capital throughout the day, nevertheless cleared Manezhnaya Square from activists on the night of October 8. There were several dozen protesters there, they intended to stand near the Kremlin all night.

As one of the activists told Meduza, the police acted very harshly. It is unknown whether there were any arrests.

The protesters, under pressure from the police, descended into the subway. Some of them, judging by this online broadcast , are going to go to protest at Chistye Prudy.

The action was not coordinated with the mayor's office, but the police did not detain anyone.
