Ukraine has banned rapper Gnoiny from entering the country

The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has banned Russian rapper Vyacheslav Mashnov (Purulent, Glory to the CPSU) from entering the country. The corresponding document was published by the Ukrainian edition "Apostrophe".

As the publication clarifies, the SBU made this decision because of the rapper's performances in Crimea after the annexation of the peninsula to Russia. It is also noted that Purulent was seen making harsh and offensive remarks about Ukraine.

The document does not specify for how long Mashnov is banned from entering Ukraine, Apostrophe notes.

Earlier, rapper Vyacheslav Mashnov (Purulent) was included in the database of the Ukrainian site "Peacemaker" due to "deliberate violation of the state border of Ukraine" (a visit to Crimea without obtaining appropriate permission from the Ukrainian authorities) and was called "a participant in attempts to legalize the annexation of Crimea by Russia."

On December 24, Purulent planned to give a concert in Kyiv.
