According to him, the riot police blocked Liteiny Avenue, along which the procession took place as part of the action on October 7. Vesnin reports that activist Ildar Dadin was detained on the avenue. Photographer David Frenkel was also detained, but was immediately released. Vesnin writes that riot police kicked him in the head. Ildar Dadin reports that 30 people are in the paddy wagon with him. This was reported to the OVD-Info hotline.

The protester Marina Bukina was smashed in the head by law enforcement officers.

Georgy Alburov from the Anti-Corruption Fund was also detained in St. Petersburg, allegedly for swearing.
