The arrests of Panov and Zakhteya were extended until December 9

The judge of the Supreme Court of the annexed Crimea Elena Mikhalkov extended the defendants of the first case of "Ukrainian saboteurs" to Evgeny Panov and Andrei Zakhey, the terms in the pre -trial detention center were for another two months - until December 9. About the decisions made on Friday, at the same time reported by the Crimean human rights group.

With the petitions for the extension of the Political Zapids, the senior investigator of the Crimean headquarters of the FSB for particularly important cases, Lieutenant Colonel of Justice, Mikhail Golyshev, a former investigator of the SBU. The Ukrainian authorities put Golyshev on the wanted list under part 1 of Article 408 of the Criminal Code of the country (desertion).

For a long time it was believed that Panov was imposed part 1 of Article 30 - paragraph "A" of part 2 of Article 281 of the Russian Criminal Code (preparation for sabotage as part of an organized group; up to 10 years of colony). However, from the list of hearings on the court’s website it follows that another charge has been imputed by Politzek - in part 2 of Article 208 of the Code (participation in illegal armed formation; from 8 to 15 years).

On the other hand, it is not clear how relevant this information is. The Card of Zakhteya indicates the charge under the same articles 30 - 281 of the Criminal Code of Russia (without Article 208, imputed by Panov). Meanwhile, back in July it was reported that this charge was removed from it, imputing less grave in return - under Article 324 of the Code (illegal purchase of official documents) and/or under Articles 222 (illegal storage of weapons) and 327 (forgery of documents).

The proceedings were held closed, however, to announce the decision against Panov, Judge Mikhalkov, at the request of the lawyer Sergei Legostov, was admitted by the mother of Politzek Vera Kotelets, who specially arrived in the Crimea from the city of Energodar Zaporizhzhya region, where Panov himself lived before the arrest to see his son.

Logostov said to human rights activists that in the Simferopol SIZO-1, his client is in an information vacuum. Earlier, the lawyer noted, he sent Panov several newspapers by mail, but the FSINITS still have not handed them over to the Politzek.

Panov himself in a letter from the pre -trial detention center, which appeared on the Internet on October 2, also noted: "I am safely isolated from all information: neither a radio station, nor newspapers, not to mention the TV."

The 40-year-old Panov worked as a driver at the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant in Energodar. Former ATO participant; Energodar self -defense activist, member of the Executive Committee of the City Council, where he was elected by the quota of the Ugrop party. 41 -year -old Zakhtei - previously twice convicted native of the Lviv region; Recently, before kidnapping, he lived in Saks in the West of the annexed Crimea. Along with Ukrainian, he had Russian citizenship, which was deprived of it a few months ago after the retraining of the case. He worked as a private car.

Both defendants were stolen on the night of August 7, 2016 in various places in the north of Crimea and in the next few days were subjected to cruel torture, which gave confession about the preparation of sabotage on the annexed peninsula. After the premises in the pre -trial detention center, both Panov and the grubs were disavowed.

Panov still does not admit guilt. Meanwhile, Zakhti this summer pleaded guilty and concluded a pre -trial agreement on cooperation with the prosecutor’s office in exchange for substantial mitigation of the prosecution. One of the conditions of the transaction was the refusal of the political prisoner of all four independent lawyers.

At the same time, Zakhtei refused to testify against Panov, saying that he was not familiar with him.

In early July, it became known that the administration of the pre -trial detention center transferred Panov to camera No. 102, teeming with bugs. Such an instruction to the FSINCI was given by the security forces from the FSB, conducting operational support in the case, for psychological pressure on the Politsek.

Meanwhile, Zakhtea, despite his other attitude to the charges, in mid -September for two days was put in a punishment cell , accusing of violation of the detention regime.

Oksana Zakhtei, the wife of Politzek, reported that he should be sentenced in a special order in the near future.
