The coordinator of Navalny's St. Petersburg headquarters was sentenced to 40 hours of compulsory labor.

Polina Kostyleva, the coordinator of Navalny's St. Petersburg headquarters, was sentenced to 40 hours of compulsory labor, the Court found her guilty of organizing an uncoordinated protest on October 7.

Earlier, she was fined 20,000 rubles for posting campaign materials calling for people to come to this action.

The activists detained on October 7 and 8 were fined between 1,000 and 20,000 rubles. Some were sent under arrest for up to 12 days .

• On October 7, in St. Petersburg, as in other cities of Russia, a protest was organized by politician Alexei Navalny. The activists gathered on the Field of Mars, from there they went to Vosstaniya Square, and then to Palace Square. At least 66 people were detained on Liteiny Prospekt, where the police tried to stop the convoy, and then on Vosstaniya Square.
• On October 8, two dozen activists came to Palace Square and announced that they would stay there overnight. Most of them were detained.
