Published a video capture of two Russians in Syria

A video was published on which Russian citizens Roman Zabolotny and Grigory Tsurkan were filmed immediately after they were captured by the Islamic State terrorists. The video was discovered by the research group Conflict Intelligence Team (CIT).

On the record, Roman Zabolotny calls himself Russian and says that they "rode with information to the headquarters." There are two more prisoners next to him. Apparently, one of them is Grigory Tsurkanu. He sits in the back of a car with a bandage on his face. Another captive is probably a Syrian.

• The Islamic State announced the capture of two “Russian soldiers” on September 28. Later, terrorists published a video on which Roman Zabolotnaya and Grigory Tsurkan were shot. Journalists found that Zabolotny is a member of the Cossack organization from the Rostov region, and Tsurkan is a former military serviceman, a member of the Battle Brotherhood veteran organization.
• The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation twice stated that Russian military personnel did not fall into the terrorists of the IS. The Russian Foreign Ministry promised to carry out "work on the establishment of citizenship and possible location" of prisoners.
• On October 5, the State Duma deputy Viktor Vodolatsky said that Zabolotny and Tsurkan were killed. Earlier, Anatoly Kotlyarov, a deputy of the City Duma of Rostov-on-Don, said about the death of Zabolotny.
