Boris Akunin put an end to the last novel about Erast Fandorin

Writer Boris Akunin announced the completion of work on the last book from the cycle "The Adventure of Erast Fandorin".

“I notify all interested persons that this on the 8th of the tenth month of the 29th year of Hayesi ended the last book of the Erast Fandorin adventure series,” Akunin wrote on his Facebook page, having previously recording the epigraph “twenty years later”.

According to the writer, there is still a lot of work ahead - editing, catching "fleas", design, proofing. The novel should be released on February 8, 2018, on the twentieth anniversary of the publication of the first novel of the series - Azazel.

Earlier in 2017, it became known that the British television channel took up the adaptation of works dedicated to Erast Fandorin. Akunin, commenting on this news, noted that "Russian television channels have completely lost interest in further adaptations."

To date, the Cycle of "The Adventures of Erast Fandorin" includes 16 books, including the newly announced new product. The series includes a conspiracy detective, a spy detective, a political detective, a high -society detective, a dickensa detective, an ethnographic detective and other genre delights characteristic of acuin.

Three novels were filmed - Azazel, Turkish Gambit and State Advisor. The main character was played by Ilya Noskov, Yegor Beroev and Oleg Menshikov. The film "Decorator" with Danila Kozlovsky in the title role was also announced.
