Russian confectioners from Krasnoye October through a court in Vilnius made a ban on the release of sweets under the Krasnaya Red cap of the Lithuanian confectionery factory Naujoji Ruta, founded in 1976 and the Achehemos concern. It is reported by the local publication Lrytas .

The court ruled that the verbal element of the trading sign of the plaintiff and the defendant is phonetically identical. "There is no doubt that a significant part of Lithuania residents easily understands the Russian language and can easily read both words in Russian and words written in Latin letters and pronounce them the same way," the court decision says.

It should be noted that in August, the Cassation Court in Riga refused to consider the lawsuit of the Russian Red October to the decision to satisfy the claim of the Norwegian group of Oorkla - the current owner of the Latvian confectionery company Laim and all its brands - to protect the trademark of the Lacitis Kepainitis trading sign.

Thus, the ban on the illegal use of the Kosolay Mishka brand has remained valid, since it has a great resemblance to the Laima brand. Previously oncoming claims of the Red October, which demanded to cancel the registration of the Lacitis Kepainitis trademark, were rejected.
