Russian Su-24 crashed in Syria, the pilots died

In Syria, at the Khmeimim air base, the Russian Su-24 bomber crashed during takeoff. This is reported by Interfax with reference to the Ministry of Defense. The pilots did not have time to eject and died.

The disaster occurred on Tuesday morning. The plane, heading for a combat mission, rolled out of the runway and collapsed.

The alleged cause of the incident is the technical malfunction of the aircraft.

At the end of last year, the accident off the coast of Syria happened with two fighters of the Aviation Carrier "Admiral Kuznetsov".
