In Stavropol, the police drew up a protocol against the coordinator of the campaign headquarters of Alexei Navalny Ivan Tansky for organizing the rally on October 7, the "Caucasian Knot" reports , citing the activist himself.
Tansky was detained even before the start of the event and released under the obligation to appear in the department. On the 9th, he came to police station No. 1 with a lawyer, where a protocol was drawn up against him for repeated violation of the procedure for holding an event (part 8 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses).
“All the materials for me have already been collected. They drew up a protocol under Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation ... I signed it with a statement of my facts. The protocol says that I organized a public event without filing a notification of its holding in the prescribed manner. The protocol was drawn up on the basis that I urged people to come to the headquarters,” Tansky told the “Caucasian Knot”.
According to him, on the page in the social network "VKontakte" he wrote "waiting for everyone", but did not call for a mass event.
The consideration of the case will take place in the Leninsky District Court on October 12, an OVD-Info activist said.
