Vladimir Putin resigned the tenth governor lately. This time his post, again with the wording “of his own free will”, was left by the head of the Ivanovo region Pavel Konkov. The deputy head of the Ministry of Economic Development Stanislav Voskresensky has already been appointed in his place.

And the sources of RBC in Ivanovo himself even said that in the governor’s office, curtains were painted to get rid of the tobacco smell, and a full -scale general cleaning was held in the suburban residence.

Pavel Konkov was born in Ivanovo in 1958, graduated from the Moscow Textile Institute, but returned to his homeland, where he worked in the textile industry.

In 2003-2004, Konkov was the head of the Legislative Assembly of the Ivanovo Region, in 2008 he was appointed First Deputy Chairman of the Regional Government, and in 2013-by decree of the President-the acting governor. In 2014, he won the governor’s elections, collecting over 80% of the vote.

Apparently, Konkov was close to Mikhail Menu, the Minister of Construction and the Housing and Public Utilities, who himself was the governor of the Ivanovo region in 2005-2013. Even if so, the federal minister failed to defend his protege.

However, Konkov already had great difficulties with the management of the region: criminal cases were instituted at one time or another, so that the “conclusion” of the Ivanovo region from Mikhail was a completely expected event.

Stanislav Voskresensky fits into the group of "young technocrats", who have recently been so loved in AP. He is 41 years old, he was born in Moscow, in 1998 he graduated from the Russian Economic Academy named after Plekhanov with a degree in international economic relations.

From 1995 to 1999 he worked in Russian and foreign audit companies with taxation issues. From 1999 to 2004 - the financial director in structures carrying out work in the field of special underground engineering and construction.

In 2004, he decided to go to the civil service and became a referent, and then the deputy head of the expert department of the President of Russia. Since March 2008 - the deputy head of the Ministry of Economy, the minister at that moment was the current head of the Central Bank Elvira Nabiullina. He oversaw such directions as investment politics and attracting foreign investment. In 2012, he transferred to the post of presidential deputy chairman in the North-Western Federal District, but in 2014 he returned to the mayor.

Earlier, RBC reported that Stanislav Voskresensky was one of the participants in the RANEPA and the administration of the President of the training for training for leading posts in the regions.
