
After the searches, the six persons of the new case “Hizb Ut -Tahrir” were detained in Bakhchisarai - the Crimean Tatars of Marlene (Suleiman) Asanov, Seyran Saliev, Timur Ibrahimov, server Zakyryaev, Ernes Ametov and Memete Belyalov. This was reported by "Crimea. Realities" with reference to lawyer Emil Kurbedinov, who defends Asanova. The detainees were taken to Simferopol in the UFSB according to the annexed Crimea and Sevastopol.
“I believe that this is the next response of the Russian authorities to the recent UN violation of human rights in the Crimea. The security forces want to show that any complaint to international instances will entail only tightening repression,” Krymskotatar National Movement, Zair Smedlyaev, commented on the news.
As the journalist Shevket Namatullaev specified on his FB page, Asanova announced the main person involved in the FSB. Part 1 of Article 205.5 of the Russian Criminal Code (organization of the activities of a terrorist organization), which provides for a period of 15 years to a lifetime, was imputed. The rest of the special services is charged with part 2 of the same article (participation in the activities of such an organization), the sanction of which is from 10 to 20 years of the colony.
During the search by Asanov, riot police provoked a conflict with citizens gathered at the house. The conflict grew into a brawl.
Nine citizens as a result of conflicts with security forces were detained and delivered to the police. In particular, the coordinator of the "Crimean solidarity" Dilyaver Memetov reported , Refat and Elnur Asanova, father and brother Marlene Asanov were captured. It was reported that all nine are facing fines or administrative arrests. As the human rights activist Lily Gemes said , the five detainees were beaten.
After 19:30, activist Abu Hamza said that the three Bakhchisarai district court controlled by Moscow fined 15 thousand rubles each according to the “rally” article 20.2 of the Russian Administrative Code. The proceedings are intentionally delayed, added Abu Hamza.
Later, journalist Lily Budzhurova, she reported on her FB page that the headquarters of the FSB in Simferopol, where a rather large support group gathered, detained three more citizens. They were delivered to the city OP-2 ("Kiev"), where they kept several hours, after which they were released. According to the Crimean human rights group, the citizens were detained that they were outraged by the actions of the security forces - they dispersed the audience and tried to evacuate the car of a disabled person, who also came to support fellow countrymen.
Kurbedinov reported in the morning that he was not allowed to search his client.

In addition, the defendants in the second and third cases included the charge of part 1 of Article 30 - Article 278 of the Russian Criminal Code (preparation for violent seizure of power; up to 10 years of colony). It took the FSB to hold the accused in jail after the year after the arrest. The defendants in Simferopol, Article 30 - 278 were not charged, since at the time of their detention the sanction of part 2 of article 205.5 was tightened and now this charges are enough to hold the accused in the pre -trial detention center for more than a year.
It is also known about the case of a citizen of Kyrgyzstan Akhmatjon Abdullaev and a certain Nemat of Isroilov , arrested earlier than the defendants in Simferopol. According to some reports , they are also charged with membership in Hizb Ut-Tahrir. However, Abdullaev, along with part 2 of Article 205.5, is also incriminated for the Hizb Ut-Tahrir, part 1 of Article 205.1 of the Russian Criminal Code (assistance to terrorism; from 5 to 10 years of colony).
31 -year -old Saliev is a well -known civil activist who has already been subjected to repression of the occupation authorities. On May 12, 2016, when the security forces arrived to detain the defendants in the first Bakhchisarai case “Hizb Ut-Taurir”, Saliev from the minaret of the mosque through the loudspeaker notified fellow countrymen of the searches that had begun. After that, citizens began to flock to the houses of the suspects.
A protocol was fabricated on the activist under part 2 of Article 20.2 of the Russian Administrative Code (organization of a public event without approval). Bakhchisarai district court fined Saliev for 20 thousand rubles. On August 23, 2016, the judge of the Supreme Court of the annexed Crimea Vladimir Agin left the resolution of the district court in force. When Saliev spoke in the Crimean Tatar language during the consideration of the complaint, Agin regarded this as an insult to the court.
On the morning of January 26, 2017, Saliev was detained and later on the same daywas arrested for 12 days for posts on a personal VK page. The publication of a photo with the Flags "Hizb Ut -Tahrir" was qualified under part 1 of Article 20.3 of the Russian Code of Administrative Offenses (public demonstration of prohibited symbolism), and the publication of the songs of the Chechen bard Timur Mutsuraev under article 20.29 of the Code (distribution of extremist materials). The lawyer Kurbedinov, who went to Saliev for the search, was detained, returned to Simferopol and was also arrested there for 10 days under part 1 of Article 20.3 for publication on Facebook.

Asanov is the owner of the cafe Salaçıq. During the detentions in the first Bakhchisarai case, the Hizb Ut-Tahrir took searches in particular in this cafe.
