Facebook and Instagram are experiencing an outage

In the work of the social network Facebook on the afternoon of October 11, a failure occurred - users in different countries cannot access the site from a computer. In some cases, the site loaded, but not completely.

The CNET publication reports that there are "many" reports of the inability to enter the site.

It is also reported that a number of users do not open the Instagram website (owned by Facebook).

There is no information about the reasons for the failure. Facebook has yet to comment on the issue.

Update. Facebook has announced a fix for issues that were caused by "network issues".
