The leadership of Israeli intelligence warned their American colleagues that hackers from Russia used the antivirus programs of Kaspersky laboratories to invade computers of the US Federal Departments. According to The New York Times, with the help of these programs, hackers, among other things, gained access to the secret documents of the US National Security Agency.
According to the anomonomic sources of the newspaper, the Israeli special services managed to infiltrate Kaspersky’s computer network and observe how Russian hackers with their help penetrated into computers of private and state users around the world. The Israelis allegedly reported this to their American allies two years ago. This information ultimately led to the prohibition of using Kaspersky laboratory programs in all American state institutions.
A few days ago, The Wall Street Journal announced that Russian hackers, using the Kaspersky anti -virus program, stole secret documents from the personal computer of an employee of the US National Security Agency.
According to The New York Times, Israeli experts followed the activities of Russian hackers who were looking for secrets on American government computers, and transported them to Russian intelligence servers. It was they who allegedly presented to the American intelligence agencies the evidence of Russian cybersecrations.
