
On October 14 and 15, the Library named after N.A. Nekrasov in Moscow will become the venue for the 11th All-Russian Conference of Wikipedia, dedicated to the development of Wikimedia projects in the languages of the peoples of Russia, as well as the problems of the free creation and dissemination of knowledge as a whole.
According to the website of the Library named after N.A, Nekrasov , the entrance to the conference is free.
Vicky conference is at the same time a scientific conference and a meeting of like-minded people. Since 2007, it has been collecting together participants in various Vikimedia projects to conduct reports and presentations about current and completed projects, exchange ideas and search for new contacts.
Participants in Wiki conferences are able to personally discuss a wide range of issues, ranging from free and open software to initiatives aimed at the free distribution of knowledge and wiki projects in the Russian Federation and around the world.
Anyone can take part in the conference, registration is open on the website Wikimedia.org . Now 148 people have already registered there.
