In Saratov, Sergei Ryzhov, coordinator of the Free People party, who was detained for the Opposition Walk on October 8, was released from the police. The court hearing in his case was postponed to October 14, writes Svobodnye Novosti.ru . FreeNews Volga.

It is noted that Judge Sergei Sotskov, who previously presided over the case of the oppositionist, granted the request of human rights activist Vladimir Charsky and challenged himself.

On October 12, the case was handed over to judge Alexander Ershov. But he appointed a new trial for October 14, where Judge Elena Ledneva will preside. Until that time, Ryzhov was allowed to go home.

The activist was detained on October 11 and accused of repeated violation of the rules for holding a rally (part 8 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses) for the Opposition Walk on October 8. He was left for the night in the OVD.

According to Ryzhov, during the walk, a strange woman with a stroller pestered the participants, which, as it turned out later, was empty. She wrote a statement to the police against the participants of the walk, allegedly they prevented her from moving. Sergei Okunev is sure that it was a deliberate provocation.
