They are promised: “Educational grants in the amount of 1 million rubles”, “Mentoring from famous managers from business and public administration” and “A chance to become a participant in a special program for the development of a personnel management reserve”.
Regarding the latter: this is the same program that has already been tested on candidates for governors and includes, in particular, a peculiar way to verify the ability to overcome fear: a jump to the river with a 7-meter cliff. These topics on social networks have already laughed plenty , but now, it seems, advanced experience will be expanded to participants in the final stage of the Russian Leaders contest.
The new competition is intended for managers not older than 50 years with at least five years of experience in governing work. Everything else is like a matter of technology (fill out a questionnaire on the site) and your own talents. You look, and you show yourself - by the way, the specifics of the competition and tests are surprisingly small regarding the content of upcoming tests and tests. It is only clear that 2400 who have made their way into the semifinal stage fall into personnel reserves of different levels. 300 will reach the final, which will be held in Moscow at the beginning of next year: they promise grants for 1 million rubles each - for training in Russian universities under management programs.
And finally, one hundred of the most-most will be declared winners and ... God knows him. More precisely, apparently knows Sergey Kiriyenko. But he will not say yet. The most specific information about the award is "a year of personal career consultations from top managers of the largest companies and outstanding statesmen." The list of these managers and figures - there are 65 of them, as part of the competition, they are called "mentors", which, perhaps not entirely appropriate associations with Masonic lodges . Among the mentors are politicians like the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Sergey Lavrov, senior officials (including the chief of the presidential administration Anton Vaino), top managers (for example, the head of Gazpromneft Alexander Dyukov) and businessmen. Among the latter, the name of Yevgeny Kaspersky, the head of the Kaspersky Laboratory, draws attention: given that the USA is suspected of assisting the hackers (however, both it and the Kremlin reject these accusations), it is difficult to avoid malicious thoughts about which direction the mentoring of the Russian IT guru can take. The list of "mentors" itself sometimes causes non -standard interpretations:

It is characteristic that Sergei Kiriyenko himself seems to understand what the main problem with the “personnel reserve” is in today's Russia. But he believes - or pretends to believe - that the actions like the contest "Leaders of Russia" are able to solve this problem:

We need this to be wrong. According to the results of testing, there will be full -time stages. Can there be a scam at the correspondence stage? Can a candidate set to fill out a test of five professors for himself? Theoretically can. But the elements of tests without warning will be turned on in full -time test. And the one who passed the test successfully, and then did not solve the problem on the selection, will be expelled immediately.

The whole wonderful story turns around by imitation, like many other wonderful undertakings in modern Russia. A demonstration of the presence of what has not been in the current and still stable political system and cannot be. Inside innovative feudalism, good barons can conduct a clog for serfs, but to feast, and others to dig beds, and neither managerial talents, nor the ability to jump from a height can change anything here. At least until the tenants of the upper floors receive a warrant for relocation to cozy basements.
Maybe this is excessive, excessive pessimism and gloomy liberal spitefulness? Indeed, what is the wrong in the intention of the current authorities to prepare a new generation of managers - if possible skillful and efficient? Nothing, if, at the same time, as Ivan Davydov notes, a “natural social elevator acted in society for people who are going to power - living politics, competitive elections. Why invent it, it’s not a bicycle, after all.”
