Sobchak secretly met with Putin

TV presenter Ksenia Sobchak met for a conversation with President Vladimir Putin, sources of the Russian BBC service said.

As the mother of the leading Senator Lyudmila Narusova told the publication, Sobchak makes a film for the 80th anniversary of his father, former head of Putin Anatoly Sobchak.

“After the operators, lighters and others left, Putin and Sobchak remained in private,” one of the sources of the publication said.

When asked whether Sobchak really interviewed the head of state, Narusova replied: “It is assumed that Vladimir Vladimirovich will act one of the speakers in the film.”

Presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov refused to comment on the meeting of Sobchak and Putin.

In September, Vedomosti wrote that Sobchak could participate in the presidential election in 2018.

A month later, the presenter indirectly confirmed his participation in the elections.

“Someone, maybe it would damage it, but I think it will help me,” she said about her experience in show business for the campaign.
