In Moscow and St. Petersburg today, October 15, protests are taking place against the policy of the Russian division of the YouTube video service, Ekho Moskvy reports .
According to the protesters, the events are held in the format of a people's gathering and do not require approval from the authorities. Activists oppose censorship on YouTube and are in favor of moving the Russian division of the video service abroad.
On October 1, an attempt to hold a rally near the YouTube office in Moscow turned into arrests. More than 20 people were taken to the police departments.
