In June, the German concern filed a lawsuit due to the supply of gas turbines to Crimea bypassing sanctions. The defendants are OJSC Foreign Economic Association “Technopromesport”, LLC “Siemens Technologies for Gas Turbine” and LLC “Foreign Economic Association“ Technopromexport ”.
In the contract for the supply of turbines, a ban on the use of equipment in the Crimea was indicated, as well as the “place of permitted use” - the Taman Peninsula. The amount of the contract was € 213 million.
Siemens through the court intends to return the turbines sent to Crimea and prevent the sending of new ones.
