He apologized, but he was not heard

The director of Yuri Bykov says many evil words. And even more after he publicly apologized for the "sleeping". But if the reaction to a dull agitation about the blessed agents that he removed for the Channel One can still be understood, then I personally refuse to understand the reaction to an apology.

During these twenty -five years, a bunch of nasty things have been made. They served the regime, and then protested against him. And vice versa: at first they protested, then served. They were easily sold, approved by violence, theft, lies ... But I don’t remember a single case that someone repented for this, asked for forgiveness, at least for a second I thought that there was once a little wrong in something. This is not in our rules, not in traditions.

One person apologized - Bykov. And they attacked him. This outraged even more than the series itself.

He is reproached with trolling, in hypocrisy, in irresponsibility. In the world is always right, self -confident and happy people, repentance is sin. Whatever happens, you're right.

Forget for a minute about "sleeping". Bykov has two films for which he can forgive a lot and which explain a lot. This is a "major" and "fool."

In recent years, perhaps no one, even an international beloved Zvyagintsy, has not shot more terrible and honest paintings about our homeland.

In a row with the Bykovsky “fool” there is only “long happy life” by Khlebnikov. Both that and the other is a sentence. But not to Putin, not to liberals, but to all of us, weak, isolated, finally lost humanity. Everything can: kill a person and cover the killer, as in a "Mayor". Because of money and cowardice, turn the life of your city into hell, as in a "fool." And at the output of the thesis: by and large, the state has nothing to do with it, it is a consequence, not a reason. The reason is in us, all ourselves, with our own hands. Just look in the mirror.

What happened to Bykov? How did he get to the "sleeping"? And Crimea happened to him. In the spring of 2014, many, under the influence of events, identified their homeland with the state. And here, extremely on time, Zakhar Prilepin and Sergey Minaev appeared in his life: “A meeting with Minaev coincided with events in Ukraine. Or in Ukraine. This knocked out the ground from under my feet-what happened in the house of trade unions in Odessa. I just climbed onto the wall! .. Actually, Lena Lapina, Fedor Bondarchuk and Sergey Minaev at that moment quickly picked me up and offered this. I still talked quite tightly with Prilepin ... In general, I decided that I had to work, since the company of like -minded people came across. What everything led to is a separate conversation. But in fact, of course, it turned out propaganda cinema ”(from an interview with the Daily Storm site).

Why, at this difficult moment in the director’s life, did not appear people honest, non -angid by the authorities? This is a question for those who are brandy now Bykov. Where were they before? Why was they so easily given a talented person into the hands of propagandists?

He wrote that "he betrayed all the progressive generation." But it also betrayed him. The heroes of Bykov, little people, provincial seekers of Pravda, hidden in their poor towns, this “generation” is not at all interested in. It is much more interesting to talk about who for whom and who pays from which budget.

There were several cases in his biography when he refused orders, once left directly from the set, because he did not want to make a hack. I tried to shoot something serious for a long time, then about the tsapki, then about Ukraine, but who needs a serious movie, but I didn’t want to shoot gloss. He took off in the end, and nothing good came of it.

For all the brutality of Bykov’s plots, this is one of the very few artists today, for whom mercy is not an empty phrase. Most shoots how bad it is to live in Russia, or how good it is, and he is that everyone is sorry and in essence has nowhere to go. After the filming of Major, Bykov was in suicidal depression for six months. It is foolish to demand from such a person to take a political position, but this is what they demand. He is not able to answer the questions “who is to blame” and “what to do”, is not capable and should not speak out about liberals and patriots, he has a different coordinate system.

Yes, Bykov is a weak, confused person who made many stupid things. What is honest and admit. But personally, to me is so pretty than forever the right people standing on both sides of the barricades and without a shadow of doubt ready to destroy each other.
