The Basmanny District Court of Moscow extended the house arrest of director Kirill Serebrennikov, the chief accountant of the Seventh Studio Nina Maslyaeva and the former CEO of the Seventh Studio Yury Itin until January 19, 2018, as well as the term of detention of the ex-director of the Gogol Center Alexei Malobrodsky, also until January 19. It is reported by Mediazona.
In the investigation's motion to extend the house arrest, it was stated that the guilt of the defendants was confirmed by the testimony of other defendants, protocols of confrontations and other materials of the case. Of all four, only Nina Maslyayeva admits guilt. The petition stated that at large the accused would be able to make contact with her and each other, agree on versions, and destroy evidence.
