"Pop against the deputy"

The headquarters of the policy of Alexei Navalny in Khabarovsk posted on the VKontakte social network a recording of the conversation of parents Timur Valiullin, a student of the tenth grade of a multidisciplinary lyceum named after the 202nd airborne brigade, with the director of this educational institution Olga Kodina. The director tells the student’s parents that “trouble came to their house,” accusing Valiullin of agitation for Navalny among classmates and teachers. Kodin quite seriously asks his parents whether the surname "Navalny" is pronounced in their house, and calls this policy "the product of the US special services."

Director Olga Kodina offers Valiullina to pick up the documents and threatens with attention from the FSB. At the end of the conversation, the director switches to an increased tone and tells the student that “he is awesome.” Codin interrupts all the objections of the student with the phrase “Close your mouth”. In an interview with Radio, Freedom Timur Valiullin told the details of this story:

- Timur, the director at the beginning of the conversation accuses you of "political propaganda" at school. Kodin says that the school she leads is outside of politics. It should be noted that Olga Kodina herself is a deputy of the Khabarovsk City Duma from the United Russia party.

- I am sorry now that during the conversation I was scared for my parents and did not answer her. First of all, it would be necessary to ask her to talk to me as a student, and not as with disenfranchised cattle. Secondly, it was necessary to explain that I am not engaged in political agitation at school. I never called on classmates to vote for Navalny, I did not give stickers, badges or newspapers in the lessons.

- The director, as you can hear in the record, claims that you are in this way of one of the students of the school.

- I do not hide that I support Navalny and help the headquarters than I can. But not to hide your political views and agate is not the same thing. One of the students heard that I was a volunteer at Navalny's headquarters. This boy all the time asked me about Navalny and asked me to bring him the stickers "Navalny. 20! 8".

- How did the director find out about this?

“I don’t know, the boy is definitely not a snot.” The director knows everything that is happening in our school. Once in the lesson I asked a young teacher (immediately after the university, I came to work in our Lyceum), for whom she will vote in the presidential election. The teacher replied that for Navalny, because she sees in him new opportunities for Russia. The teacher said that she considers Navalny a worthy candidate and if he comes to power, it will be interesting. I asked the teacher if she would go to an anti -corruption rally. The director found out about our conversation and called the teacher.

Another time, in a school study lesson, the teacher told us that we live in a legal democratic state. I then objected to her that the state in which the disagreements repressed, and the elections are falsified, and the right of citizens to the secret of correspondence is violated cannot be legal and democratic. She said that if I answer the question so during the exam, I will go to the exam. The same teacher taught us that it is normal to infringe on the rights of "persons of non -traditional orientation." I objected because all people should have the same rights, regardless of gender, race or sexual orientation. I also said that it is impossible to promote sexuality, just as it is impossible to promote the color of the eyes or left -handedness.

- You recorded a conversation with the director at the end of September, and posted only yesterday. How long does the conflict last with Olga Kodina?

- First, we deciphered the record for a long time. Then the person responsible for sound and video had problems. The director had already called me in the summer, after a rally against corruption on June 12, in which I took part. She said that she received my photo taken during the anti -corruption rally from the Ministry of Education. The director decided that I was the organizer of the rally, although this is not true. I am an ordinary volunteer. Kodina then said that now I could not enter the university, and my parents will be fired from work.

- Parents what do they think about this situation?

- They say that my participation in the Navalny campaign will not end in any good. Parents are out of politics, but worry about me. I was afraid that after the director threats they would begin to control my life, but so far this did not happen.

- What do you think about threats to drive you out of school? And about the words of the director, what did the FSB become interested in you?

- It's all nonsense. I am almost an excellent student, and I never had any problems with my studies. Last year, I finished the five, and in the next, probably, there will be several four. By law, you cannot expel me from school. They enter the university according to the results of the exam, and not by political views. I have many friends from Navalny’s headquarters in Khabarovsk. They participate in anti -corruption rallies and continue to study at universities. The director just intimidates me. The mother believes that she is crushed in power structures, but I am sure that she yells at me and threatens me because of her sincere pro-government beliefs. It seems to me that the director does not really know who is Navalny and what he offers. It seems that she was given somewhere a manual, how to tell schoolchildren about Navalny, and she chose theses. I also think that the director is afraid for his position. She probably understands that with Navalny, the life of deputies from “United Russia” may not change for the better.

- What are you going to do next? Continue to support Navalny?

“I'm not going to leave Navalny’s headquarters because of the delusional threats.” Let them scream further. With such a reaction to the activities of volunteers, the administration of schools shows that it is afraid of changes that will occur thanks to Navalny.

- In many schools and universities, the administration requires that the students do not participate in the rallies of Navalny and his presidential campaign. Did you also carry out such a "preventive work" in your school?

- regularly students warn that you can’t go to rallies, that this is illegal. Our director is sure that everyone who supports Navalny will shoot like kittens.

- Why did you decide to support Navalny?

- In 2014, I learned about the accession of Crimea. I was delighted at first. Rejoiced: Crimea is now ours, and Putin is a handsome man. Then he saw the consequences of this political solution: sanctions, deterioration in the quality of life, international problems, economic crisis. I decided that I would be out of politics. I thought that politics is a dirty thing and I could sit out in my small world. But when they adopted the “Yarovaya Law”, I realized that politics is climbing into my life, entering my territory. It outraged me! I realized that it would not be possible to be outside the policy in our country.

When I learned about Navalny’s anti -corruption investigations, and that he began the presidential campaign, he decided to support him. I like that he wants to cancel the "Yarovaya Law" and an article for extremism. I agree that the state should be legal and democratic not in words, but in reality. Not everything in the Navalny program suits me. For example, its economic agenda seems too left. But in general, I believe that it was this politician that will be able to make it stopped pursuing people who disagree with the power of people in our country.

- How do teachers and classmates react to your conflict with the director?

- Teachers do not discuss politics with us. And the opinion of the students was divided. Some support me. Others sided with the administration. One kid told me that since the director of the State Duma is the director of the State Duma, she has a connection to the FSB and will make the special services will block my accounts and delete the record in VKontakte. I was dropped by the screenshot of the correspondence of students of our school in a closed group on a social network. Some students write that they are in solidarity with the director, and in vain I have a break against the deputy. Today, the director told my parents that I had no right to record our conversation, and promised that she would act.

There is a law on education, the law on political parties, which clearly states that political propaganda in educational institutions is prohibited. The record I heard today, Timur mounted. He deleted the teacher’s story, as Timur personally campaigned for a rally. At the same time, the boy had fun and said that he would have fun at the rally, the police would detain. There is no information from the teacher on social studies on the record, which said that Timur in the lessons constantly demonstrates his political views and views, regardless of the topic of the lesson. The record did not get information that Timur accused teachers of chauvinism for not supporting certain sexual orientations of a certain category of people.

- Explain the phrase in the record addressed to Timur, "the Federal Security Service became interested in you."

“ I don’t have to ask about it.” There is a certain security of the state ... First of all, with regard to people. When the child, being a small person who has not yet formed to the end, is drawn into one or another political activity, this is probably done for something. I, being a deputy from United Russia, do not engage in political activity in the school. We have a youth movement in our school, which is not related to politics. We have many areas of activity in our school, starting with search and ending with leisure. We have a wonderful museum of our city, theater, a school of playing a guitar. And representatives of political parties, including United Russia, were never invited to our school.

Various leaders, representatives of youth movements come to us. Our school hosts military-patriotic fees. The lessons of parliamentarism are held, as in all Russian schools. We take places at competitions and olympiads, we have fifteen gold medalists this year. To foster love and respect for the place where you were born is not political activity, but educational and developing. I do not know what is in Timur’s head, and I am afraid for this child. He is somewhat not quite correctly sees his role in moving for Russia to be better. The child was picked up by knowledge that cannot systematize. I'm afraid because such guys are used by unscrupulous people.
