Ksenia Sobchak’s decision to participate in the next presidential election in Russia gives a completely new quality to the entire political process. I would even say, it illuminates this process from the other side. After all, Sobchak is not just a TV presenter, a representative of the secular Bohemia and a participant in opposition protests. She is the daughter of a man who was one of the architects of modern Russia, the creator of endless Putin, Medvedev and even Chubais. Her mother is present in this system not only as the widow of the first mayor of St. Petersburg and the talented imitator of the democratic front at deputy congresses, but also as a many -year member of the Federation Council. Her godfather is Vladimir Putin, the political "godson" of her father.
Someone will call this a mafia, but this is not a mafia. You can at least get to the mafia. This is an ancient Rome, a hereditary aristocracy, security officers, bandits and a cement mortar, which tightly binds these two competing criminal groups - Yeltsins and Sobchaks.
From the outside, all this, of course, looks completely magnificent. The children of those in power gradually occupy leading positions in power and business (with the exception of Putin, of course, but Putin himself is a child of Sobchak and Yeltsin, he is not laid for him). The names of the various Ivanovs, phrases, Rogozins are repeated in a variety of variations so often that you will not figure it out, where are children and where parents are. The faction of Zhirinovsky is headed by his boy - in the good sense of the word, although in Russian politics, despite the whole fight against the propaganda of what is not necessary, it often happens that in the bad. It remains only to regret that the patriarch, in view of the ridiculous canons, does not have children and official property - otherwise I would not have to think about the successor or the inheritance.
Some Navalny could not get into this company by definition - there would be a mafia, he would break through, but he could not go into an aristocratic Senate. In the aristocratic Senate, even the head of the opposition is the horse of the emperor, and this is predetermined by the whole course of history. Sobchak is perplexed why the voter should vote in the same decades, not telling that she herself is one of them, only younger, more painful, more groaning, smarter, more and more. For me, the best image of Sobchak is a long black car with parliamentary numbers, in which the future against the ovshas passes along Patricks. There is nothing surprising in this - in Russia, a daughter can use the mother's service car. I just remember that way.
In the Soviet Union, it was all the same - and otherwise. The nomenclature was also almost sealed, but was afraid to arrange children in higher positions in the state and allow them to stick out. It was good for children, they were content with the well -being of relatives and posts of deputy ministers or ambassadors. The nomenclature was inherited by inheritance, she did not belong to the authorities. The current ones have something that the previous ones did not have-money, resources and fear of losing the captured state, if something really changes ever. And they also risk the future of their children - the natural heirs of their billions, millions, palaces and cottages. Therefore, they seek to solve all issues in their closed circle. Therefore, even the youngest, most modern candidate in the 2018 presidential election will have a surname of 30 years ago.
