The preparation of the economic program for Ksenia Sobchak, who is going to run for the presidency of Russia, will be handled by Vladislav Inozemtsev, director of the Center for the Study of Post-Industrial Society. It is reported by RBC with reference to sources close to Sobchak's campaign headquarters. Inozemtsev did not comment on this information to RBC.
In a comment to Dozhd, Inozemtsev said: “I just found out. I have to get used to this idea. I was asked if I would mind. I replied that no - I have an entirely positive attitude towards Ksenia Anatolyevna.
Political strategist Vitaly Shklyarov, who advises Sobchak, told RBC that he would be "responsible for mobilization, for working with youth, for involving as many people as possible."
According to Shklyarov, the task is to attract to the side of Sobchak "that part of the people, girls, boys who watched Dom-2 - 18-year-olds who were actually born at the time of Putin's inauguration."
According to the BBC Russian Service and the Dozhd TV channel , political strategist Alexei Sitnikov, who worked with Boris Yeltsin and Yulia Timoshenko, will also advise Ksenia Sobchak. Sitnikov did not confirm his participation in the Sobchak campaign.
The choice of each of the experts for the campaign is not accidental, says political scientist Konstantin Kalachev. “Shklyarov, probably, should demonstrate a lack of communication with the Kremlin, Sitnikov should ensure communication with the presidential administration, Inozemtsev is just an economist with a name,” he told RBC.
