In Tula, the court closed the administrative cases of Navalny’s supporters for June 12

The Tula Regional Court closed administrative cases against three Navalny supporters. This was reported to OVD-Info by lawyer Alexei Vlasov.

All the activists detained on June 12 had Part 5 of Art. 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (violations of the procedure for holding a public event).

According to the lawyer, the administrative proceedings have been terminated against Valery Mezhuev, Nikolai Mironov and Nikolai Khoroshko.

The cases of Kirill Polovinkin and Kristina Ovchinnikova were not considered due to the fact that they were not notified of the upcoming meeting.

According to Vlasov, on June 12, Navalny's supporters in Tula refused to hold a public rally because the city administration did not agree on it, but came to the square with Russian flags:

In Tula, anti-corruption measures on June 12, in fact, were not carried out. Navalny's supporters simply came to the celebration with symbols and Russian flags. However, three provocateurs, who, according to some sources, are related to the police, raised banners, after which mass detentions of citizens began, who were standing near the provocateurs. A total of 17 people were detained. Complaints to the ECtHR are being prepared for all those held accountable by the lawyers of Navalny's headquarters and local lawyers.

Actions against corruption were held on June 12 in 154 cities of Russia. In 18 cases, the events were not agreed upon, in 15 the actions did not need to be approved, or the organizers and local authorities could not reach a consensus on the location of the action, as, for example, in Moscow and St. Petersburg. According to the organizers, journalists and participants, a total of 98,720 people took to the streets, according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs - 49,661.

Detentions of participants were recorded in 31 cities, in total, at least 1,769 people ended up in police stations. About 17 people were detained in Tula.
