In the parliamentary elections in the Czech Republic, the “Promotion of Dissatisfied Citizens” (AKCE Nespokojen Xanů, Ano) of the billionaire Andrei Babish won a confident victory. It is reported by Reuters.

The ANO movement gained 29.6 percent of votes, almost three times more than its closest pursuers. This gives the Babish party 78 seats in the new composition of parliament. In second place is the Civil Democratic Party - 11.3 percent, 25 deputies. The Pirate Party will receive 22 places in parliament, which gained 10.8 percent of the vote, and the extreme right -right party "Freedom and direct democracy" (10.64).

The ruling Social Democratic Party received only 15 seats in the new parliament. The same number of deputies will have the Communist Party of the Czech Republic and Moravia.

In total, nine parties took place in the Czech parliament according to the results of the vote. The turnout of the voters amounted to 60.6 percent.

During the election campaign, Babish promised to fight corruption, to use the government into his business urban, as well as to confront the country's deeper integration into the European Union and for any effort of Brussels to force the Czech Republic to accept more than 10 million refugees.

“I believe that we will form a government that will become a single team,” Babish said after the announcement of voting results. We want to fulfill our program to improve life in our country. ”

In the last composition of the parliament, ANO had 47 deputies. The party entered the ruling coalition and delegated six ministers to the government. Babish, who served as Minister of Finance, was forced to resign in May of this year due to accusations of illegally obtaining an EU subsidy of two million dollars. A corresponding investigation was initiated against him. Babish himself denies all the accusations.
