According to the sources of Kommersant, the killer, a native of Dagestan, were going to dismiss various violations from military service. The lieutenant drank, took a submachine gun from the weapons compound and went to find out the attitude to the officer who filed a request for his dismissal. On the way, the officer killed the platoon commander who was trying to interfere with him, and three ordinary people who escaped to shots. A special forces group was sent to the place of shooting.
