On October 23, Tatyana Felgenhauer attacked our colleague, Echo of Moskvy, a journalist of Moscow, she was wounded in the neck. The attack occurred directly on the radio station, in the guest room. Doctors say that Tanya does not threaten Tanya, but her condition is difficult.
Like all the people who work in the news, we are used to reading and writing about hell - every day. Many journalists know that over time, the ability to worry deeply about every terrible news is dull: there are too many of them, and experiences can interfere with work. However, often this protective function does not work. The attack on Tanya is just such a case, because she is not just our colleague and not just one of the most famous and professional journalists in Russia, but also a friend of our editorial office.
We wish Tanya as soon as possible to recover - both physically, and, if possible, psychologically. We wish all the Ekhovites who every day receive threats on the air, comments and personal messages - resistance. We wish people who produce roughly made propaganda stories about Echo, where the station staff (and almost primarily Tanya) show traitors and enemies of the people, find another job for themselves.
We hope that very soon Tanya will return to the air.
