The only Russian driver of Formula 1, Daniil Kvyat, was again suspended from racing. The Toro Rosso team he drives for has decided that he will not compete at the Mexican Grand Prix on 29 October.
Whether he will perform in the two remaining races in Brazil and the United Arab Emirates is unknown. According to the BBC source, most likely not: Toro Rosso is no longer interested in working with the Russian.
- Daniil Kvyat started his career at Toro Rosso (the junior team of the Red Bull concern), then he was transferred to the main team. In 2016, he was brought back due to aggressive driving and an accident during the Grand Prix in Sochi. Kvyat performed unsuccessfully for Toro Rosso, and as a result, in September 2017, he was suspended from two races. On October 22, he performed in one race in the USA and now again lost his place in the team.
