Vladimir Klevno, the chief forensic expert of the Moscow Region, has been fired, Interfax reports, citing a source familiar with the situation. According to him, the dismissal is due to the fact that Klevno's subordinate found alcohol in the blood of a six-year-old child.

Officially, the head of the Ministry of Health of the Moscow Region, Dmitry Markov , said that while Klevno remains in his position. “At the moment there is an examination, everything will go through the court ... As soon as there is a decision, confirmation, we will make a decision either on suspension or something else.”

• In April 2017, in Zheleznodorozhny near Moscow, Olga Alisova knocked down a six-year-old boy to death. Expert Mikhail Kleymenov conducted an examination and found out that during his lifetime the child was drunk, because he found alcohol in his blood.
• The Investigative Committee of Russia first brought a case of negligence against the investigators, but then admitted that there really was alcohol in the boy's blood. Then the UK began to find out under what circumstances alcohol got into the blood of the child.
• As a result, investigators came to the conclusion that the deceased boy was not drunk. During the examination, Kleimenov contaminated the blood sample with "alcohol-containing microflora." A case was opened against Kleimenov under the article “Negligence”.
