The head of the village of Birofeld in the Jewish Autonomous Region, Maria Voron, the prosecutor's office accused corruption and demanded her resignation. It is known that the village administration entered into an agreement on the provision of improvement services with a private person who turned out to be a relative of the raven.
According to the contract, in May 2017, the raven entered into an agreement on the reimbursement of unauthorized landfills and the removal of garbage from New, Youth, Sadovaya and Taiga streets in the village of Birofeld with the condition of paying for the cost of fuel on the contractor issued. As a result, the Contractor indicated in travel sheets later signed by the head of the municipality, clearly high indicators in the absence of a speedometer data. It also turned out that a relative of the raven transported waste without a license.
This is not the first conflict of interests revealed by the prosecutor's office of the Birobidzha district when checking the village administration for corruption. Earlier, the department managed to establish that the transportation services of the administration were paid to another relative of the head of Birofeld. Then the prosecutor's office also demanded the early resignation of the raven, however, a meeting of deputies of the Birofeld rural settlement refused to initiate the procedure for resolution.
