Primorye: The case of the "earned" half a billion mayor was sent to court

The mayor of Vladivostok, ex-director of the municipal unitary enterprise of the Vladivostok road and the general director of Vostokzament JSC are accused of receiving and giving bribes, abuse of power, bribing and using deliberately forced documents. The Prosecutor General of Russia last Friday approved the indictment in the criminal case of Mayor Igor Pushkarev and sent the case to the Supreme Court.

From 2008 to 2015, the mayor of Vladivostok, Igor Pushkarev, according to the investigation, for bribes of 75 million rubles prevented private companies from participating in municipal competitions for road construction. With the help of the director of the Municipal Unitary Enterprise "Vladivostok Roads", Pushkarev ensured the victory of the specified enterprise in the competition and concluded contracts with him for 1.2 billion rubles on the supply of materials from the "Vostokezament" of companies controlled by the East Controlled.

As a result, relatives of the mayor, receiving dividends from the Vostokezament Group of Companies, earned 471.7 million rubles. The damage to the company "Vladivostok road", which purchased building materials at an inflated price, was estimated at 143.6 million rubles.
