Travnikov called for not considering his words “first criticism” of the city authorities.

The head of the region said that Novosibirsk managed to see on the only weekend when he was not at work or on a business trip. He walked on foot, drove by car and the subway. At the request of Taiga.info, the acting governor described his experience.

“What did you like? Of course, I liked the metro, of course. I liked the open spaces - wide streets and avenues. I liked that there are modern microdistricts that develop quite harmoniously, ”said Andrei Travnikov. - Maybe for now an erroneous impression, but it seemed to me that point development here is not a mass problem. What I saw in other cities, in the same St. Petersburg, in Vologda-there is the appearance of “candles” inside the developed microdistrict became a mass phenomenon. It seemed to me that in Novosibirsk they were not fond of this. Although, of course, in the city center I saw new high -rise buildings. ”

The official also clarified that he was surprised in the city, but called for regard to his words not as criticism of the “previous and current authorities”, but as a “view from the outside”.

“A fairly large number of street trade was surprised, and, it seems to me, often not entirely authorized. You can probably improve the quality of cleaning. We will wait for the winter, see how the city will be cleaned in winter, but the seasonal summer - there are flaws that can be fixed without large costs. Not all stopping points visited, but noticed that there are practically no information about routes, about frequency at the ground transport stops. Which, of course, is strange. Perhaps Novosibirsk is such an advanced city that every resident receives this information from his gadgets, but, nevertheless, this makes not the best impression, ”said the acting governor Taiga.info.
