What is the true greatness of a truly great leader? In the ability to choose those paths that will lead his power to power and prosperity. So our country leadership is famous for what is capable of, contrary to the gone of enemies, to find the right decisions and strong moves in the most difficult situations. I am talking not only about Crimea and Syria, Turkey and Turkey again, but also that it directly concerns us, employees of the scientific and educational sphere. So to speak, workers of the intellectual field. Moreover, it is important, our power does not follow the critics and, making epoch -making decisions, relentlessly fulfills them, despite the howl and the tooth grinding of the fifth column.

Take for example the Academy Reform Law adopted in 2013. How much scream and noise were about the defeat and destruction of academic science. And what happened? Fano came to the place of the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Sciences, which led out order with the registration of academic property and property. Institutes both worked and work to this day. Life has even become much more saturated: restructuring, mergers and associations of institutions - a striking contrast with a former academic stagnation.

Of course, the RAS reform law is not the only positive example. Take the Skolkovo innovation center, the decision to create which at one time caused a lot of complaints. How, they say, it has already been decided that more than a hundred billion rubles on this business will be spent, but they only begin to think over the concept?!

There were questions about the seizure and redemption of land: they took, they say, the land from the scientists of the agrarians, and the wife of the First Deputy Prime Minister Shuvalov bought the land for good money. There were oh and ahi about salaries in Skolkovo. There were reasoning that it would be better to spend Skolkovo billions on the support of existing science degrees and scientific institutions.

Time has passed, now there is a school of the Skolkovo and Skoltech management department, students study, and scientists get grants and work. The press write about their achievements, and in Skolkovo the pathos and forums are held.

But the main thing is not even that. After all, colleagues, if you figure out what is the most valuable in Skolkovo? The results that are not obtained by scientists and not graduates of Skoltha, no, the most important thing is the invaluable administrative experience of organizing qualitatively new conditions for science and innovation. Experience that can be broadcast and scale throughout the country!

And just recently, on October 17, the Skolkovo godfather, the leader of my beloved party, the former and, is not excluded, the future President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Anatolyevich Medvedev said at the Open Innovation forum in Skolkovo that it was decided to create a new university complex in the south of St. Petersburg-JSC ITMO Haypark. So to speak, St. Petersburg Skolkovo.

Our prime minister outlined goals and objectives: “Our task is that young talents develop their talent here. It was for such tasks that we created Skolkovo, where we are. And such centers with concentrated IQ should be as much as possible, this is our principled policy. The new law on innovative, scientific and technological centers that was adopted was also aimed at its implementation. We create such innovative centers and complexes. More recently, I signed a decision on the creation of a new innovative cluster in the Pushkin district of St. Petersburg. ” More than 40 billion rubles will be spent on these purposes.

So the process of accelerating the scientific and technological development of Russia has begun! Skolkovo, scientific and technological valley at my native Moscow State University, now Peter. I hope that we will completely deepen the process, not limited to valleys - we will also create technological gorges, including in the mountains of the Caucasus. Ramzan Akhmatovich and other authoritative leaders, I hope, will support.

Some, however, continue to giggle. Like, at the same Forum “Open Innovations”, where the Pitersky Skolkovo was announced, visitors found “innovative urns” for separate garbage collection, in which different types of garbage are gathering in one package. Well, they began to slander that, as always with us, the matter is replaced by imitation. What can you say? As wise oriental people said in such cases, the dog barks, and the caravan goes.
