
In Moscow, an activist of the democratic opposition Alexei Stroganov was killed. This was reported by the politician Ilya Yashin.
“He was attacked: the unknown hit Stroganov with an iron pipe on the head. Alexei was in a coma for two months. Yesterday he died without regaining consciousness,” Yashin wrote. - We knew nothing. He disappeared two months ago and did not get in touch. About what happened, it became known only yesterday. "
"The investigation has not yet opened a criminal case in connection with the attack on Stroganov. At a meeting of the Council of Deputies of the Krasnoselsky district, we will send a request to start an investigation next Saturday," Yashin said.
The TFR conducts a pre -investigation verification of the death of Stroganov, according to the website of the Moscow Administration of the Investigative Department.
Stroganov for many years was in the Movement "Solidarity", participated in the organization of rallies of 2011-12. Since 2010, he has been a member of the Electoral Commission of the Krasnoselsky district from the Yabloko party.

On September 15, Nikolai Lyaskin, the head of the Moscow headquarters of Alexei Navalny, was attacked . When Lyaskin, along with the volunteer, Artem Suscyakov, left the headquarters building on Gilyarovsky Street, an unknown, coming from behind, inflicted two blows to the chief of staff with a steel pipe. The first blow fell on the head, the second - on the shoulder. Then the attacker threw a pipe into the opposition and ran away. Lyaskin was diagnosed with a closed head injury, a concussion, as well as a bruise and an abrasion of soft tissues of the occipital region. The victim refused hospitalization.
The police opened the case under Part 1 of Article 213 of the Criminal Code (hooliganism). Meanwhile, Lyaskin himself turned to the Investigative Committee of the TFR with a request to re -qualify the case to Article 277 of the Criminal Code (an encroachment on the life of a state or public figure). The Corruption Foundation supported the position of a functionary.
On September 19, Alexei Shcherbakov was detained on suspicion of attacking Lyaskin. During interrogation, he said that Lyaskin himself asked to organize an attack and promised to pay 150 thousand rubles for it. Lyaskin himself called this message "fierce hell" and a provocation. At the same time, he confirmed that he really saw Shcherbakov at the headquarters. On September 22, the suspect was released on a recognizance not to leave .
