Political strategist Stanislav Belkovsky was appointed chief political consultant at the election headquarters of the TV presenter Ksenia Sobchak, reports Echo of Moscow with reference to the head of the headquarters of Igor Malashenko.

Belkovsky himself told RBC that he received an offer from Malashenko on Wednesday. According to the political scientist, he intends to "give Ksenia Sobchak a set of ingenious ideas that will help her realize political ambitions."

According to Belkovsky, Sobchak is going to seriously compete for the post of head of state in 2024, and the current presidential campaign for her is an opportunity to try his hand.
