The head of the headquarters of opposition leader Alexei Navalny, Leonid Volkov, was released from a special detention center, where he was serving 20 days of arrest for tweets about mass protests. Navalny wrote about this on Instagram.

The decision to arrest Volkov late in the evening of October 5 was made by the Preobrazhensky District Court of Moscow.
