The authorities in Russia are a black box, the authorities do not feel the need to report to the citizens about their decisions, which means that there is not and cannot be any indisputable evidence of the connection of the candidate Sobchak with the presidential administration. Point 1. Do you agree with the statement that the main question of the upcoming elections is whether at least one independent candidate will be allowed to participate in them?

If your answer is no, then you have nothing to worry about at all. You have to enjoy the uncompromising, honest and unpredictable struggle of Putin, Zyuganov, Zhirinovsky, Yavlinsky, Sobchak, and, possibly, the Freemason Bogdanov. Yes, by the way, we will not discount Sergei Mironov. He is still continuing the intrigue and has not unambiguously announced his participation. But if he declares, then, of course, the alignment will change dramatically. You are lucky - you are a full-fledged citizen of a democratic country, your vote can be decisive, Putin, Zyuganov, Sobchak and especially Sergei Mironov, of course, need you.

If your answer is yes, then let's go. Let's go to point 2.

Point 2. Do you think that Ksenia Sobchak's decision to run for office has any bearing on the question formulated in point 1?

If your answer is “yes, it does”, then you still have nothing to worry about. It doesn't matter whether you consider candidate Sobchak an independent player or see her as an agent of the Kremlin, or at least a protege of reptilians from the planet Nibiru. What is important is that if you recognize that her noble impulse can give the elections a new meaning, then the goal of increasing the legitimacy of the elections has been achieved. You recognize these elections as elections, and not as some other action, and it remains only to decide which of the participants is more attractive to you. Putin, Sobchak, Morchan, Ovchan or still Sergei Mironov.

But if your answer is “no, it doesn’t affect”, you will have to walk to point “3”.

Point 3. Do you understand that the authorities have already given a clear answer to the question formulated in point 1, and this is a negative answer?

Do you choose "no"? You can be congratulated: you are a romantic, in some ways even an idealist (and don’t be offended if you see here a reference to Sergei Dovlatov’s Invisible Newspaper, in fact it doesn’t exist). You believe in the best to the last, what's wrong with that. We just have to wait a bit to test our own optimistic hypotheses. And if waiting is boring, there are options for participation - you can give a signature for one of the independent candidates, or you can even work at the headquarters of one of the independent candidates. Surnames are useless - after all, we have a huge, almost infinite number of independent candidates here.

Do you choose "yes"? Well, you seem to have a good grasp of Russian political realities. You perfectly understand that the word "election" to refer to the ritual of swearing the subjects to the oath of allegiance to the sovereign is used simply by inertia. And unlike many others who are now arguing and quarreling, accusing each other of something, Ksenia Sobchak, Vladimir Putin, Morchan, Ovchan, Freemason Bogdanov and even Sergei Mironov, you have a great reason to spend Sunday March 18, 2018 with benefit.
