The editor -in -chief of the St. Petersburg edition of Fontanka spoke about the threats and pressure that the editors faced after the publication of materials about Wagner PMCs

In August, Fontanka published a series of materials “Wagner List”. Our journalist Denis Korotkov collected evidence that there is a private military company in Syria. Exists and carries losses. PMC, which, according to our information, is related to a serious St. Petersburg businessman Evgeny Prigozhin. Immediately after the release of these publications on dozens of unknown sites and blogs, Korotkov was accused of betrayal of his homeland, ties with ISIS prohibited in Russia, and at the same time of the complicity of the SBU of Ukraine. There, and in the same style, proposals for reprisal were raised. This continues to this day.

On September 22, Fontanka spoke about the enchanting theft of a safe with jewelry from the plenipotentiary in the North -West, and then about the capture of unlucky crooks.

On September 28, the administration of the governor of St. Petersburg issued an unusual statement where she condemned the author of the stories about the safe of Evgeny Vyshenkov for the “self -PIR” and undermining the “current system of public relations”.

Once again: the journalist received a slider for a story, which has nothing to do with Smolny.

Evgeny Zashenkov apologized to the envoy Nikolai Nikolayevich Tsukanov. Although the latter seemed to have not asked for anything. According to our data, the Smolny statement appeared after the large people reported to Moscow that the Fontanka story about the theft of a safe - an “order” against the embassy.

On September 30, the 78 television channel, and October 1 - RENTS and again 78 (both are part of the National Media Group) devoted ten -minute plots to Tonanka and Vyshenkov. We were accused of “Fontanka to learn about the operational events held by the federals,” in the publication of “laudatory materials to the governor of St. Petersburg and one famous vice-governor Igor Albin”. And it turned out that the Fontanka does not notice any problems in the field of housing and communal services, nor pits and gaps on the roads, and only does that the St. Petersburg authorities praise excitedly. ”

On October 2, Roskomnadzor appeared. The department urgently demanded from us documents revealing the owners of the Fontanka, under the pretext of verifying compliance with the law on restriction of foreign shareholders in the ownership of domestic media. Of course, all these data were sent when it was required, that is, more than a year and a half ago, but we sent it again. By the way, a little later we were informed in Moscow - our opponents hoped that there were foreigners among the founders of the publication. They did not find enemies. But we are about Roskomnadzor. We have any questions to him at all, as an employee of the traffic police, who received a signal - whether he was drunk at the wheel.

And right away-a new wave of publications on the Internet. The enemy began to take in number. After a couple of weeks, hundreds of notes were placed on two hundred wild sites and pages. It is difficult to summarize all this, but if briefly, it is like this: the Fontanka protects corruption in Smolny, the Fontanka is a nightmare of the Business of St. Petersburg, the director of the openwork Andrei Konstantinov for a reason, for the reason, the adviser to the governor, and his friend Evgeny Vyshenkov - Gay, the criminal and the “Night Governor” at the same time. You can continue, but restrict ourselves to the apotheosis - it was the Fontanka who opened the Panama offshores, and she is at war with the Rotenbergs.

Some garbage dumps of the second and first wave coincided. And this is not an accident. It’s not that we analyzed, but, compared with the past DDOS attacks on us, an attempt to recruit our journalists and the installations of the Lysenkov car beacons, it did not look incendiary. After publications on Fontanka about Wagner's PMC, we thought that they could come to us, they would come to us, for example, from the tax, and our journalist was accused of ties with terrorists. After the feuilletons about the mysterious theft of a safe from the embassy, ​​we believed that this incident would have fun, but it turned out that someone fell into rabies, and the Internet trolls and the same Internet maches were choked in the abrasion. Again, everything was performed according to Saltykov-Shchedrin: "They expected great atrocities from him, and he ate Chizhik."

The fact that those who personify themselves with the highest echelons of power hate us so that they are already taking their teeth is not a sensation. But it only looks like they just want to close the Fontanka. Believe me, slamming us is half the battle. The main task is to make you read and watch them, so to say, resources. Because you, dear readers, do not want to do this of goodwill.
