Solidarity movement activist Vladimir Shipitsin was beaten in St. Petersburg

Vladimir Shipitsin, an activist of the St. Petersburg Solidarity movement, was beaten in the entrance of his own house. On October 25, at 10:30 am, an unknown man attacked Shipitsin, beat him with brass knuckles and kicked him. This was reported in the Solidarity of St. Petersburg group.

It is known that Shipitsin was returning home from a trip, a man of 35–40 years old was waiting for him at the entrance. The man attacked Shipitsin near the elevator, sprayed him in the face with a gas canister and knocked him to the floor. An unknown person beat Shipitsin with brass knuckles and kicks, during the beating he said: “Don’t write more x@nu about good people, next time it will be worse.” After the beating, an unknown man took several pictures on his phone.

After the attack, Shipitsin went to the hospital, underwent a medical examination and intends to file a complaint with the police.
