Putin called the date of indexation of pensions of former military personnel

Russian President Vladimir Putin at a government meeting instructed members of the Cabinet of Ministers from January 1, 2018 to index pensions of ex-military and equated categories. It is reported by RIA Novosti .

“I looked, the budget for 2018 provides for indexation for military personnel from January 1, and indexing pensions to military pensioners - from February 1. This applies to 2.6 million people. I think you need to do the way we did before, do it synchronously, ”said Putin.

The Russian leader also noted that the indexation will affect payments to the Russian Federation to the Russian Guard and law enforcement officers.
