The information and analytical television channel "Tsargrad TV", founded by the entrepreneur Konstantin Malofeev, is negotiating about the unification with the Savior Public Orthodox television channel, which belongs to the Moscow Patriarchate of the Russian Orthodox Church.

This information today, October 26, was confirmed by RBC by the Director General of Tsargrad, Elena Sharoykin.

On October 25, Life.ru reported that the television channels have a merger, and Malofeev is going to convey to the “Savior” to the “Constantinople” studio. At the same time, some employees of the Tsargrad television channel will switch to SPA, part will remain in the staff of the Tsargrad TV information portal, the part will be dismissed.

The General Director of the Spas channel Boris Korchevnikov called the message about the unification with Constantinople rumors.

The head of the press service of the Patriarch of Moscow and All Rus', Father Alexander Volkov said that it could confirm "only the fact that a number of proposals have been nominated on the part of the Constantinople and its main founder, now they are being considered."
