The explosion was qualified as a terrorist attack.

“The equivalent of an explosive device, according to preliminary information, was 400-600 grams of TNT,” said Roman Govda, prosecutor of Kyiv. According to Pavel Kononenko, the first deputy prosecutor of the city, the Hell machine could be made on the basis of a car alarm and contained a 7-mm bullets that extracted from the bodies of the dead and wounded. The channel occupies part of the usual residential multi -storey building, the door to the front is common, the street is not too busy. The police conduct an apartment bypass, looking for possible witnesses of the crime.

The investigation is not categorical in conclusion that only the “radical” Mosiychuk could be the target of the attackers.
