The Sovetsky District Court of Makhachkala partially satisfied the claim of Marat Ismailov, the organizer of the rally against corruption on March 26, in connection with the obstruction of its holding. Ismailov himself reported this to OVD-Info.
The organizer filed a lawsuit against the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Finance, the administration of Makhachkala and the financial department of the administration of Makhachkala. He demanded compensation for non-pecuniary damage in the amount of 100 thousand rubles. The judge ruled to recover from the Ministry of Internal Affairs compensation for non-pecuniary damage in the amount of 25,000 rubles and the cost of paying the state fee in the amount of 600 rubles. Otherwise, the court refused.
At a rally on March 26 in Makhachkala, according to various sources, from 40 to 100 people were detained. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Dagestan, 40 protocols on administrative offenses were drawn up under articles 20.1 and 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (petty hooliganism and violation of the established procedure for organizing or holding a rally). As a result, almost all the alleged participants in the action received a verbal warning due to the " insignificance of the violation ."
