Primorye: 11 kindergartens and school are closed due to flu

The educational process is suspended in 11 kindergartens and one school of the Primorsky Territory. The regional Rospotrebnadzor assesses the situation as ordinary, the exceeding the epidemiological threshold among the population has not been registered.

Monitoring for a partial or complete suspension of the educational process is carried out from October 2. Earlier it was reported that the incidence of influenza and SARS from September 11 to 17 increased by 42%.

Vaccinations in the region delivered 39% of the population - this is 740 thousand people, of which 180 thousand are children. According to October 16, vaccination coverage was 34% of residents. The risk group of complications after influenza includes children under 5 years of age, adults over 60 years old, suffering from various chronic diseases.
