Interpol recommended participating countries to ignore requests from Russia

The Central Bureau of Interpol recommended the countries participating in the International Police Organization to ignore requests for a search from Russia unilaterally, Voice of America reports .

Interpol members warned that Russia could not use the organization "to pursue its own goals."

The leadership of the Interpol also notified the participating countries to cancel the unilateral request for the search for the founder of the Hermitage Capital Foundation William Brauder submitted by Russia.
