Terrorist attacks in Mogadisho: ten dead

In the capital of Somalia, Mogadisho two cars with suicide terrorists at the wheel exploded near the Presidential Palace. According to Reuters, ten people died, another seventeen were injured.

The first car exploded at the NASAHABLOD Two hotel 600 meters from the Presidential Palace. Then the armed militants occupied the hotel. Law enforcement officers conduct a battle for the hotel with terrorists.

Responsibility for terrorist attacks was taken by the local group of Islamist Harakat al-Shabab, associated with al-Qaeda. Islamists regularly commit such terrorist attacks in Mogadisho and other parts of Somalia. The movement is fighting against the Provisional Government of the country recognized by the UN, from 2007 to 2011 it controlled the capital.

On October 15, two explosions occurred in the center of Mogadish, as a result of which 398 people died . This attack has become the largest in the history of Somalia. Not a single radical group took responsibility for the attack, the Harakat al-Shabab was suspected of organizing explosions.
