A bicycle in the Ivanovo region was shot down by a drunken priest Protoleon, the media say

In the Ivanovo region, the Nissan Primera car shot down a cyclist. Local media claims that there was a local priest while driving a car and that he was drunk.

The emergency occurred on October 26 in the city of Shuya, Ivanovo region. RIA Novosti in the regional traffic police confirmed the fact of the incident, but without details. They reported that on Thursday at about 20:50 on Sverdlova Street a foreign car knocked out a 55-year-old woman on a bicycle. The victim with head injuries was taken to the Central District Hospital.

The Kineshmenets site (Kineshma - a city in the Ivanovo region) claims that at the wheel of Nissan there was one of the priests of the Kinesham diocese - the rector of the pretensky church of the village of Parskoye Hieromonk Protoleon (Belozertsev).

"The priest at the time of the accident was intoxicated. A number of administrative protocols were drawn up on him," the publication reports.
