In the Moscow Regional Court, after a long break, the process in the case of the "GTA gang" was resumed.
Nine people are involved in the case - Zafarjon Gulyamov, Khazratkhon Dodokhonov, Sherjon Kodirov, Abdumukim Mamadchonov, Mirzomavlon Mirzosharipov, Kholik Subkhanov, Anvar Ulugmuradov, brothers Umar and Fazlitdin Khasanov. They are natives of Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan, have incomplete or complete secondary education, did not officially work, lived in the Moscow and Tver regions.
The defendants in the case became known after a series of attacks in the area of the M4 Don highway in 2012-2014 - the number of attacks varies from 9 to 23. The bandits scattered home-made spikes on the highway at night so that the wheels of the cars would pierce, and the drivers would stop in a remote place. The nickname "GTA gang" stuck to them - by analogy with a computer game, the heroes of which killed victims on the roads with particular cruelty. On November 6, 2014, the alleged participants were detained - a total of 14 people, the alleged leader was killed. Then everyone was released, and only one Mamadchonov was detained. After 10 days, the Investigative Committee announced the arrest of five suspects of involvement in the gang, four more were wanted. At the end of January 2015, the investigation announced the arrest of the remaining four. In October 2015, the investigation was completed and the case was taken to court.
In August, the press again remembered the “GTA gang”: five defendants tried to escape and had a shootout with the convoy. On August 1, five members of the gang - Kholik Subkhanov, Abdumukim Mamadchonov, Mirzomavlon Mirzosharipov, Khazratkhon Dodokhonov and Umar Khasanov - attacked the guards in the elevator. The remaining four were in the hall and did not participate in the attack.
During the skirmish, Mamadchonov, Mirzosharipov and Subkhanov were killed, Khasanov died in the hospital, only Dodokhonov managed to survive after being wounded. After being discharged from the hospital, he was taken to court, where an examination was appointed, according to which the mental state of the defendant does not prevent him from participating in the process.
Now the defendants are brought into the "aquarium" under heavy guard. Together with the escorts, four machine gunners and three bailiffs are on duty in the hall; before each meeting, the accused are thoroughly searched.
There are now five defendants in the "aquarium". They behave quietly, they communicate with lawyers through an interpreter. Relatives of the defendants in the case sometimes visit the court. Relatives say they do not believe the state prosecution.
The prosecutor's office presented evidence and interrogated two defendants in connection with the murder, which took place on the M4 highway. On the night of May 2-3, 2014, in a car service near the village of Radumlya, Moscow Region, the leader of the gang, Ibaidullo Subkhanov ( he introduced himself to the gang members as Rustam Karimov, was killed by security forces during the arrest. - Ed. ) suggested that the gang members go "to work." During the investigation, the defendants said that by "work" Subkhanov meant robbery and murder. Five people participated in this crime - Ibaydullo Subkhanov, Mirzosharipov, Kodirov, cousins Gulyamov and Bair Gulomov.
According to the testimony of Gulyamov and Kodirov, they drove in Bair's Mitsubishi car. Having placed homemade spikes on the road, they waited for one of the passing cars to get damaged. "Hooked" caught Kia Ceed, which were elderly spouses Lebedev. Subkhanov shot four times at Lebedev, Kodirov - at his wife. Both died on the spot. The booty of the criminals was an iPad for 25 thousand rubles, earrings for 5 thousand and 70 thousand rubles in cash.
In court, Gulyamov said that Subkhanov took the pistols from everyone, they returned to the car service, where he distributed the stolen things to everyone. “I didn’t take anything for myself,” Gulyamov said, adding that he later quarreled with Subkhanov because he was involved in the murder. In response, Subkhanov kicked Gulyamov out of the car service, warning him not to tell anyone about the crime.
I don't acknowledge the murder. I didn't know we were going to kill. I admit my guilt in part. He only helped carry things and held a gun. He didn’t kill anyone himself,” Gulyamov justified himself, adding that he was dependent on Subkhanov, since he was promised a passport.
Defendant Kodirov, who participated in this episode, told his version. According to his testimony, Subkhanov told him that they were "going to rob gamblers." He does not deny that he fired a pistol and added, without an interpreter, that he repented of his deed.
At the preliminary investigation, Kodirov said that he was given 10 thousand rubles from the loot and he also took women's shorts - to his wife. In court, however, Kodirov retracted this testimony. He stated that his words in the protocol were distorted.
At one of the last meetings, the prosecutor's office showed a video recording of the verification of testimony on the spot. To the camera, Kodirov, with his head down, without an interpreter, tells in detail how they prepared for the crime.
Kodirov showed the place where they threw the spikes and the ditch from where he jumped onto the road after the car stopped. I remembered that when they approached the car, the injured Lebedev was changing the wheel. At that moment, the man was shot dead. At the end of the video, Kodirov confirmed that he had testified voluntarily.
- It's all a lie and a fairy tale! I was taken away and given pieces of paper so that I could tell on camera. I didn't know where M4 was, he [the investigator] wrote and showed it himself.
- When did you manage to learn the language, if you say that you could not read and write in Russian? the judge asked.
— I read slowly.
Then Kodirov suddenly announced that he was given "some kind of pills" and made a "zombie" out of him. As a result, he partially confirmed the verification of testimony, in the part where the crime took place and how he fired shots at the car.
The next hearing in the case is October 31.

Colonel Maksimenko's arrest extended
Court: Moscow City Court
Defendant: Head of the Main Directorate for Interdepartmental Cooperation and Internal Security of the TFR Mikhail Maksimenko
Article: 210 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, part 2 (participation in an organized criminal community), art. 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, part 5 (receiving a bribe by an official on an especially large scale)
Stage: pre-trial investigation, extension of arrest
Threats: from five to ten years with a fine, from 7 to 12 years in prison
The investigative department of the FSB charged the head of the main department of interdepartmental cooperation and internal security of the TFR, Mikhail Maksimenko, with two episodes of bribery for the same action. This was stated by his lawyer Andrei Grivtsov at a meeting in the Moscow City Court to extend the arrest of Maksimenko. The arrest was extended for another three months, until January 19, 2018. In total, four criminal cases were initiated against Maksimenko during the 15 months of the investigation, the lawyer noted.
The first is about a bribe of 500,000 euros for the release of henchmen of crime boss Zakhary Kalashov (Shakro Molodoy) from the pre-trial detention center. The second is about a bribe of 1 million rubles. from businessman Badri Shengelia for initiating a case against the police for the illegal seizure of his Hublot watch. The third is about a bribe from businessman Dmitry Smychkovsky in the form of a Jeep car. And the fourth is that Maksimenko, together with the same persons as in the first episode, received a different amount - 500 thousand dollars - for the same actions as in the first episode. We are talking about the release from the pre-trial detention center of Andrey Kochuykov and Eduard Romanov, members of the gang of Shakro Molodoy. Kochuikov and Romanov were released, and a few days later they were again detained by the FSB. Soon, Kalashov himself was under arrest on charges of extortion. And on July 19, the Lefortovo court arrested the generals of the TFR.
Maksimenko himself stated at the meeting that the investigation itself and the negative publications in the press were aimed "at discrediting both the entire Investigative Committee and its head Alexander Bastrykin." “Investigators and FSB operatives need only one thing - that I confess to crimes that I did not commit. I was repeatedly called the specific punishment to which the court should sentence me - 22 years of strict regime in the most terrible colony in the Russian Federation. But I will not slander honest employees of the TFR, despite the threat of severe punishment that the court may impose on me, ”said the general.
